Course Format

The Emergency First Aid at Work course will be delivered in an interactive face-to-face classroom environment. This session will include a combination of theoretical presentations, practical demonstrations, group discussions, case studies, and hands-on activities. Experienced instructors will guide participants, allowing ample opportunities to practice skills in a safe learning environment.

Workload & Length

The course is expected to take 7 hours to complete, accommodating the busy schedules of professionals and businesses. The modular format allows participants to seamlessly integrate learning into their routine. Participants are required to wear appropriate footwear and clothing during the practical sessions.

Assessment Methods & Certification

Participants will undergo continuous assessment during the course, which includes practical demonstrations and knowledge-based evaluations. Successful completion of the assessments will result in certification. An SCQF Level 6 certificate is issued by NUCO Training and is valid for 3 years, participants can renew it through further training or recertification. It is best practice to attend an Annual First Aid Refresher each year in between.
