First Aid at Work Requalification Course

This 2-day First Aid at Work course is designed for those who currently hold a First Aid at Work qualification and are due to expire and meets the requirements of the Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981 and the Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 1982.

These learning objectives are structured to provide you with a comprehensive understanding of first aid principles and equip you with the practical skills needed to respond confidently and effectively in emergency situations.

Course Format

The First Aid at Work Requalification course will be delivered in an interactive face-to-face classroom environment. This session will include a combination of theoretical presentations, practical demonstrations, group discussions, case studies, and hands-on activities. Experienced instructors will guide participants, allowing ample opportunities to practice skills in a safe learning environment.

Assessment Methods & Certification

Participants will undergo continuous assessment during the course, which includes practical demonstrations and a written assessment for unit 2. Successful completion of the assessments will result in a three-year Level 3 Award in First Aid at Work (Level 6 in Scotland) certificated by NUCO Training.

Additional Information

Length: The course duration is approximately 12 hours spread over 2 days, each day includes breaks and a lunch period.

Prerequisites: Participants must have attended a full 3-day first aid at work course within the last 3 years.

Required Materials: Participants are required to wear appropriate footwear and clothing during the practical sessions.
