Session Goal

The goal of this session is to provide unpaid carers with a comprehensive understanding of assertiveness and its practical applications. By the end of the session, participants will have gained knowledge about key assertiveness techniques, recognised the advantages of assertive communication, and developed insights into manipulative behaviours and ideas that hinder assertiveness.

Additionally, the session will explore the concept of ego states and the role of compliments in effective communication.
