Program Overview
2 Weeks of Intensive Training
Our goal is to equip you with the necessary theoretical knowledge and practical skills to excel in the care sector and provide the best possible support to those in need.
During the first two weeks of the program, participants will undergo intensive training conducted by our team of experienced professionals. The training will cover a wide range of essential topics, including: Roles & Responsibilities, Health & Safety, Infection Control, Emergency First Aid, Moving & Handling of People, Adult Support & Protection, Personal Care, Support with Nutrition, Assisting with Dressing.
4 Weeks of Supervised Placement
Following the training, participants will be placed with reputable care providers for four weeks of supervised hands-on experience. This real-world exposure will allow you to put your newfound knowledge into practice while working under the guidance of experienced support workers. During this period, you will have the opportunity to:
- Assist and care for patients in various settings, such as care homes.
- Observe and learn from professionals with years of experience in the field.
- Work as part of a dedicated care team and experience the dynamics of a caring community.
This placement period will enable you to gain valuable insights into the everyday challenges and rewards of working in the care sector.
