Grow Your Own
CTC are pleased to share news about a recent collaborative project with D&G employability and skills, and local care providers Dryfemount residential care home and Beyond Limits.
The project enabled 4 unemployed individuals to gain relevant certificated training and engage in a voluntary placement to gain experience of the sector.
The culmination of this pilot project has now resulted in two of them gaining employment, and the other two well placed to secure future employment within the care sector.
On behalf of CTC an extremely big thank you to everyone involved in the project, and its success. Also, a thank you to Councilor Archie Dryburgh for attending the award ceremony held at CTC on Friday 4th October and presenting certificates to successful candidates.
