SVQ Management Level 4
The Scottish Vocational Qualification SVQ4 in Management at SCQF Level 9 are nationally recognised awards accredited by the Scottish Qualification Authority (SQA) in partnership with MSC and the Chartered Management Institute (CMI).
About this course
The SVQ Management Level 4 is assessed in the workplace. Examples of the settings or centres in which the SVQ is likely to be delivered include: the NHS, private healthcare providers, adult care settings and training centres.

Entry Requirements: Must be work within a care setting and support of a manager to undertake the award.
By completing your SVQ 4 in Management CTC will teach you various skills, practices and procedures in your work environment. Our assessors have years of practice between them in the health and social care sector. This wealth of knowledge gives our leaners the best learning experience in the business.
Funding
SAAS Funding is available for the SVQ 4 in Management award if you comply with the following criteria:
- study an eligible course
- meet SAAS residence criteria - https://www.saas.gov.uk/files/288/saas-exceptions-to-the-general-residence-conditions.pdf
- be earning an average gross (before tax and National Insurance) income £25,000 a year or less, including bonuses and overtime

Once you have completed this you must send this to info@caretrain.co.uk along with your SVQ application form and 3 latest payslips.
Qualification
Upon successful completion, learners will gain an international recognised qualification which guarantees that they have the skills, knowledge and abilities required to carry out their role successfully.
Progression
Candidates can progress from the Level 2 SVQ Management Level 4 at SCQF level 9 to other appropriate SVQs up to and including level 4. The progression route for each candidate will depend on their job role and level of responsibility.
Method
Currently due to Coronavirus all our candidates are inducted via video call and given access to our online learning platform Learn Assistant. We are exclusively e-portfolio so everything can be completed remotely. Once candidate’s login they’ll have access to course materials, resources and assignments.

Content
The SVQ Management level 4 candidates must achieve 7 units in total, 4 mandatory and 3 optional units.
