Within a couple of weeks of commencing his award Steven completed his first unit in Administration of Medication. Work produced has attention to detail and when meeting performance clearly evidences his knowledge and understanding of relevant legislation, guidelines, person centered practice as well as excellent standard of practice. Steven is very motivated and focused, and his work indicateshis professional relationship with the people he supports and how he strives to meet specific needs and preferences of them. This is only the start and I have high expectations of Steven whilst achieving his award.

This months nominated candidate of the month is Margaret Lamb, in her nomination statement her assessor noted, ‘Margaret has worked tirelessly during the last few months of her award to get it completed when facing personal and work pressure. Margaret has worked through COVID 19 undertaken extra responsibility and still finding time for her award.

We are now back functioning as a full SVQ team and keen to get going. This has been a challenging time for everyone, but we have been working and looking at how we re engage with our current candidates and how we continue to provide assessor and internal verifier services for our SVQ customers going forward.

Here at CTC we’ve been busy the office space around.Following Government guidance, we now have a safe space to undertake classroom delivery of courses (maximum of 10 per course), in addition we will be supplying hand sanitiser, gloves and masks, for those students attending courses and wishing to wear PPE.
